Study in Indonesia.
The essentials, in one place.
Use this snapshot to decide whether Indonesia fits your academic goals and resources. Requirements can differ by qualification, institution and application route.
| Tuition | From IDR 20M per semester (UGM FMIPA); varies by university |
|---|---|
| Financial evidence | USD 2,000 (3-month bank statement) |
| Language requirements | KNB: IELTS 5.5 bachelor, 6.0 master/PhD |

From shortlist to application.
For KNB, follow the official portal and obtain the required Indonesian diplomatic recommendation. Self-funded applicants apply to the institution, which arranges its student-visa sponsorship steps.
KNB includes Indonesian-language preparation and the reference describes teaching in Bahasa Indonesia. Check family restrictions and work conditions rather than assuming an English course or employment route.
- Identify programmes that accept your qualification. Ask admissions about equivalence if your Pakistani award is not clearly listed.
- Read the individual course requirements and deadline. Confirm language evidence, prerequisites and any selection test.
- Prepare your academic records, references and personal statement. Follow the institution’s instructions for certified documents.
- Submit through the university or its designated national portal. Keep your account, receipts and application number.
- After an offer, check the student visa procedure for applicants residing in Pakistan and prepare the required financial evidence.
