From shortlist to application.

For the Heydar Aliyev grant, follow HEC’s nomination call and any subsequent Azerbaijan portal requirement. Self-funded applicants should confirm the institution’s official portal route.

Before you commit
The reference records only three annual Pakistani nominations for the grant’s 2026–27 round. A nomination is competitive, and applicants to regulated programmes must separately establish recognition.
  1. Identify programmes that accept your qualification. Ask admissions about equivalence if your Pakistani award is not clearly listed.
  2. Read the individual course requirements and deadline. Confirm language evidence, prerequisites and any selection test.
  3. Prepare your academic records, references and personal statement. Follow the institution’s instructions for certified documents.
  4. Submit through the university or its designated national portal. Keep your account, receipts and application number.
  5. After an offer, check the student visa procedure for applicants residing in Pakistan and prepare the required financial evidence.
